ELECTION PANEL DISCUSSION TO BE HELD TODAY

Old Dominion University will host a panel discussion entitled "The Election of 2006: Winds of Change?" Thursday, Nov. 2 from 12:15-1:30 p.m. in room 104 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Department of Political Science and Geography.

Panel topics include "National Electoral Campaign" by Jesse Richman, "Local Electoral Campaign" by Joshua Behr, "After the Election: Congress and Foreign Policy" by David Earnest and "Implications of the Election for the Bush Presidency" by Glen Sussman. All panelists are faculty in the political science department. Jie Chen, chairman of the department, will moderate the discussion.
