A display of t-shirts with graphic messages and illustrations that have been designed by women survivors of violence or by someone who loves a woman who has been killed in an incident of sexual assault will be held in connection with Sexual Assault Awareness Week through Friday, Oct. 24.

The purpose of the project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence against women, to celebrate women's strength to survive and to provide another avenue for her to courageously break the silence that often surrounds her experience.

For those wishing to contribute to this project, t-shirts and art supplies will be available in the Women's Center throughout Sexual Assault Awareness Week from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sexual Assault Awareness Week is sponsored by The Women's Center. For complete calendar, see http://www.odu.edu/womenscenter. More information is available b calling 683-4109.
