BLUE-WHITE SCRIMMAGE IS SATURDAY
The Old Dominion University men's basketball team will hold its 2003 blue-white scrimmage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Ted Constant Convocation Center. The Monarchs are coming off a successful tour of London, England, in which the team was 4-0.
This will be the first opportunity for Monarch fans to see newcomers Drew Williamson (Burlington, N.C.), Abdi Lidonde (Sutton, Mass.), Brian Henderson (Richmond), Arnaud Dahi (Ivory Coast), and Valdas Vasylius (Klaipeda, Lithuania), along with the nine returning lettermen.
ODU returning veterans include seniors Troy Nance (Virginia Beach), and John Waller (Richmond) as well a sophomore center Alex Loughton (Perth, Australia), who is a pre-season second team All-CAA pick.
Tickets for the event are $5 for adults, $3 for youth, senior citizens, and military. For more information, call the ticket office at 683-4444.
