SPEAKER TELLS OF LIFE FROM AFRICA TO AMERICA

Kenyan native Kakenya Ntaiya will speak of her life experiences -- from growing up with no running water or electricity to arriving in America with television, fashion, snow and Wal-Mart -- in "Bridging Worlds," Friday, Oct. 28.

Free and open to the public, the talk will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in room 921 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building. It is sponsored by the Women's Studies Department and the Women's Forum. Refreshments will be served.

Free parking is available in the Ted Constant Convocation Center Garage on 43rd Street.
