New Deadlines Announced by Registrar for Fall Semester
University Registrar Mary Swartz has announced the extension of some academic deadlines for the Fall 2011 semester, because of Hurricane Irene.
The university's tuition deadline is now August 30. The new deadline to drop and add courses is now September 7. That's also the last day students may receive a 100 percent refund when they drop a course.
On September 8, the "withdraw" period begins. Students who exit classes after that date will receive a "W" grade.
September 14 is the deadline for students to withdraw from classes and receive a 50 percent refund. After September 15, there will be no refunds for dropped classes.
