EARLY CHILDHOOD ALUMNI GROUP MEETS THURSDAY
The Old Dominion University Early Childhood Alumni Association is hosting its semiannual meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Child Study Center Parenting Room.
The speaker will be Kathy Hopkins, director of the National Institute for Learning Disabilities. She will be speaking on "Unlocking the Brain to a Lifetime of Learning."
Pizza, drinks and cookies will be served at the beginning of the meeting, and participants will be invited to share their successes and challenges in the classroom, as well as ask questions about helping children reach their full potential in school and at home.
