GOV. WARNER'S STATE EMPLOYEE FORUM TO BE VIDEOSTREAMED LIVE ON OLD DOMINION WEB SITE OCT. 9
State employees across the Commonwealth who are unable to attend Gov. Warner's employee forum at Old Dominion University on Wednesday, Oct. 9 can watch a live videostream of the session on their desktop computers.
Through its distance learning technology, Old Dominion University will stream live audio and video of the forum, which is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Mills Godwin Jr. Building Auditorium on the Norfolk campus. A recorded version of the forum will also be accessible following its conclusion.
To view the discussion live, visit Old Dominion's Daily News Web site at www.odu.edu/news and click on the designated link at 10 a.m. Only 500 viewers can access the site live. Following the live broadcast, an archived version of the entire forum will be available for unlimited access on the same Web site.
The forum is an opportunity for state employees to hear directly from Gov. Warner about the state's financial crisis. It also provides the Governor an opportunity to learn about issues most important to state workers.
For more information about the forum, visit the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management's Web site, www.dhrm.state.va.us.
