LUCINDA AND MILLER WILLIAMS CLOSE OUT LITERARY FESTIVAL TONIGHT
Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Lucinda Williams and her father, poet Miller Williams, will close out the 28th annual Old Dominion University Literary Festival with a performance at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at the Granby Theater.
Tickets are still available and cost $7 for students, $10 for faculty and staff, and $15 for the general public. They can be purchased at the door or by calling 683-5305. Proceeds benefit the ODU Writers-in-Community program.
Poet Tom Ellis will read from his work at 2 p.m. Friday in the Newport News Room of Webb University Center. The talk is free and open to the public.
