Old Dominion University's Recreational Sports Department will be offering a series of Outdoor Adventure Programs for students, faculty and staff.

Registrations are currently being accepted for a "Kayak Lesson and Excursion," from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16. Instructors will teach participants how to kayak and the group will take a nature tour through a local state park. Kayaks will be provided.

The cost is $15 for students and $32 for faculty and staff.

Registration forms are available in the Recreational Sports office in room 192 of the Health and Physical Education Building. Registrations are due by 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.

Two other programs are planned for the fall semester: an overnight camping trip to Shenandoah National Park and a bike maintenance clinic.
