CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR DANNY LEE OVERSTREET SET FOR SEPT. 28 OUTSIDE WEBB CENTER

A candlelight vigil in memory of Danny Lee Overstreet, who was murdered in a Roanoke, Va., gay bar Sept. 22, will be held on the front steps of Old Dominion University's Webb Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.

The vigil is sponsored by the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and allied communities of the university (the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Students and Allies, and the Faculty/Staff Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals and Allies) and two Hampton Roads organizations, Virginians for Justice and the Virginia National Organization for Women.
