FUNERAL SERVICES SET FOR JOHN P. "JACK" COUSINS

The funeral service for John P. "Jack" Cousins, a newly appointed member of Old Dominion University's Board of Visitors, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth (Washington Street and London Boulevard). Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Foster Funeral Home on High Street in Portsmouth.

Cousins, who died Sept. 24, was the owner of Cousins Construction Co. Inc./Cousins Industries in Portsmouth. He was appointed by Gov. Jim Gilmore to the Board of Visitors in July.

The Old Dominion University flag is at half-staff in his honor.
