A doctoral candidate in the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University is searching for two British senior citizens to help him complete his dissertation research.

The research is a study of advertisements in magazines aimed at people age 55 and older. The analysis involves a cross-cultural comparison of ads from the United States and the England.

The doctoral candidate, Mark Smith, needs two people - one male and one female - who are natives of the United Kingdom and who meet the following criteria: be between the ages of 55 and 70; have income of approximately $50,000-$75,000 U.S.; have attended college; be a visitor or resident of the U.S., but should have been here no longer than two years.

The time commitment is estimated to be 2-to-3 days within a one week period. The selected persons will be compensated for their time. If you know of anyone meeting this criteria, please contact Smith at (803) 469-7697 or rmsmith@odu.edu.
