CCPO RESEARCHER TO SPEAK ABOUT OCEAN CIRCULATION TODAY
Jose-Luis Blanco, a researcher at Old Dominion University's Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO), will speak at a CCPO Fall Seminar at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, in Room 3200 of the Innovation Research Park @ ODU building. He will discuss his ocean circulation research, which may impact the potential placement of windmill farms off the Virginia coast.
Blanco is one of several ODU scientists working on the Virginia Coastal Energy Research Coalition's wind turbine feasibility study.
