RESEARCH 'BOOT CAMP' IS OCT. 14; REGISTRATION DUE TUESDAY
Old Dominion University's Office of Research and the ODU Research Foundation will be conducting a faculty research "Boot Camp" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 14, in the Board of Visitors' Conference Room in Webb Center.
The purpose of this workshop is to cover fundamental aspects of sponsored program submission and conduct. Topic areas will include finding funding opportunities, proposal development and submission (to include electronic submission), compliance, and post-award management issues.
New faculty and those who are new to the research and sponsored programs process for participation will be the primary audiences. Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited and timely registration is required. Registration forms need to be submitted on or before Oct. 7.
