ODU COMMUNITY CARE DAY IS TODAY
More than 700 students, faculty and staff members of Old Dominion University will volunteer their time and services to a variety of Norfolk organizations during ODU's fourth annual Community Care Day.
Activities include community cleanup, landscaping and gardening, shelter beautification, projects with children and the elderly, painting and organizing donations for the needy.
While registration for this year's Community Care Day is closed, some project still have openings available. Persons who are not registered but wish to volunteer should stop by the parking lot next to Webb Center on 49th Street to see what opportunities are available. Shuttle service to participating agencies and volunteer information will available from 8 a.m. -- 3 p.m.
