A candlelight vigil will be held tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn of Kaufman Mall in front of Webb University Center honoring those who perished in last Tuesday's tragedies. The event is open to all including students, faculty, staff, and members of the general public.

Donations will be accepted for the Red Cross. Parking will be provided for participants in lot 27 off of 49th Street. Signs will be posted aiding to locate the parking lot, as well as to Kaufman Mall. Please provide your own candle and light.

The vigil is sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega (APO), a service fraternity promoting the principles of leadership and friendship. APO regularly organizes Red Cross Blood Drives, voter registration, and various other activities on and off the campus of Old Dominion. It also participates in the Hampton Roads Habitat for Humanity project and activities for the Children's Hospital for the Kings Daughters.
