RESEARCH 'BOOT CAMP' OCT. 5, 26 AT ODU

Faculty who are new to research, new to ODU, or just interested are invited to join the staff of the Offices of Research and Environmental Health and Safety, and the ODU Research Foundation for a half-day workshop on the ODU sponsored programs process.

The session will cover the nuts and bolts of proposal development and submission, post-award management through the ODU research foundation, identification and pursuit of funding opportunities, compliance in the conduct of research, and management of intellectual property.

The session schedule is:

- Noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, Rector's Room, Webb University Center (lunch served);

- 8 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Oct. 26, Board of Visitors Room, Webb Center (breakfast served).
