LEGISLATORS TO HOST TRANSPORTATION SUMMIT MONDAY AT THE CONVOCATION CENTER

Hampton Roads legislators will host area leaders and planners at a "pre-special session" transportation summit at Old Dominion University's Constant Convocation Center from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11.

With a goal of achieving consensus amongst the local delegation, the group will meet on Patriot's Day afternoon. The gathering is a prelude to the General Assembly's Special Session, which is slated to begin Sept. 25.

The meeting is open to the public. However, seating is limited and there will be no opportunity for public comment.
