9/11 MEMORIAL IS FRIDAY

Old Dominion University President Roseann Runte invites all members of the campus community to join her and the members of the Board of Visitors for a memorial service in honor of those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The event will be at 11:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, on Kaufman Mall near Kaufman Hall. During the service, President Runte and members of the board will help plant a tree as a living memorial to those who died on 9/11.

In the event of rain, the event will be held in the North Mall Atrium of Webb University Center. For more information, call 683-3159.
