KEYES EXPLAINS MATH'S ROLE IN EVERYDAY LIFE

"What's Math Got To Do With It?", an explanation of the math that lies behind almost all features of our technological society, will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in room 104 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.

David Keyes, chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Old Dominion University, will address math haters and math lovers alike. Keyes also will discuss opportunities in the math program at Old Dominion.
