ITEMS NEEDED FOR STUDENTS AFFECTED BY KATRINA
School supplies, toiletries and clothing will be collected at Webb University Center for people associated with the ODU community who have fled the destruction of Hurricane Katrina and come to live in southeastern Virginia.
Jennifer Kingsley, coordinator of student activities, said donations may be dropped off at the Information Desk in Webb University Center.
Those who will benefit from these donations will include about a dozen students who have enrolled at ODU because their colleges and universities are not operating in the wake of the hurricane. Also eligible, Kingsley said, will be family and friends of ODU students, faculty and staff who have come to Virginia to live during the massive cleanup in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Kingsley can be contacted at 683-5914 for more information.
