Old Dominion University will hold the "Walk to Remember" to honor the victims of Sept. 11, 2001, on the sixth anniversary of the terrorist attack.

President Roseann Runte will lead students, faculty and staff on a solemn walk around the perimeter of Kaufman Mall to remember those killed and the sacrifices of those in and out of uniform, home and abroad, who have defended the country. It parallels similar functions being held around the Hampton Roads region and across the country.

The walk will begin at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11 on the main steps of Webb University Center.

Additionally, all federal, state and university flags will be flown at half staff until sunset.
