Old Dominion University, in collaboration with the Virginia Tidewater Consortium for Higher Education (VTC), is sponsoring a special workshop on "The Role of Faculty in Study Abroad" from 12:30-4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center.

Topics will include the basics of study abroad; encouraging student participation and; becoming a faculty program leader.

ODU faculty study abroad program leaders and campus study abroad administrators are featured in the workshop program. The workshop is free to ODU faculty and other faculty from VTC institutions.
