GUIDELINES FOR SPEAKERS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
A new resource is now available to assist faculty and staff who make arrangements for visiting speakers or performers.
The document, "Speaker/Performer Support Services," composed during the spring semester at the request of the Faculty Senate, provides a guide and online links, to the often complex procedures required for securing and compensating visiting speakers or performers. The guide also includes helpful information for scheduling facilities, catering, media services, special parking and police services.
The document was finalized over the summer and is now available on the "Faculty and Staff" Web page. It can be directly accessed at http://www.odu.edu/webroot/orgs/AO/PO/polnproc.nsf/files/SpeakerSupportServices.pdf/$FILE/SpeakerSupportServices.pdf
