PASS-IN-REVIEW FRIDAY ON KAUFMAN MALL

Some 50 new midshipmen of the Hampton Roads Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (HRNROTC) will participate in a Pass-In-Review ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, on Kaufman Mall.

The pass-in-review is a chance for the new midshipmen to be introduced as part of HRNROTC in a basic military parade. The ceremony ends a weeklong orientation that included physical fitness training, team-building events, ship visits and learning of military tradition.

HRNROTC is comprised of students from Old Dominion University, Hampton University and Norfolk State, and is headquartered at Old Dominion.
