'ULTIMATE BAND EXPERIENCE' IS SEPT. 13

"U.B.E.: The Ultimate Band Experience," a festival showcasing the musical talents of creative Asian Americans, will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Webb University Center at Old Dominion University.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Featured bands include Blackbird Pond, Astropop3, BreakGreen, Roman Holiday, Chivalry is Dead, Broken Strings, Ready to Fade and other local artists.

Admission is $5 in advance; $7 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Filipino American Cultural Center. More information is available by calling 683-5099 or via email at filamcenter@odu.edu.
