Global Spectrum, managers of the Ted Constant Convocation Center, and The Virginia Symphony announce a new pops series titled "Spotlight Series" presented by Wachovia.

The series will consist of five concerts, each featuring the Virginia Symphony playing with different popular adult contemporary artists, including :

Peter Cetera, 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27;

The Charlie Brown and Friends Family Christmas program featuring Al Jarreau, Dave Benoit and Melissa Manchester, 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12;

Kenny Rogers, 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21;

k.d. Lang, 8 p.m., Saturday, May 22.

Another show will be added at a later date.

Each concert will also feature cabaret seating, valet parking and pre-show dinner packages. Series subscriptions are $200 and $150 and are available now at the Constant Center and the Virginia Symphony box offices.
