SEPTEMBER BOOK CLUB MEETING SET FOR SATURDAY
The public is invited to the September meeting of the Old Dominion Multicultural Student Services book club.
The club reads a book focusing on a specific cultural group. Participants meet monthly to discuss the book with a panel or the book's author.
The selection for September is David Lamb's "Do Platanos Go Wit' Collard Greens?" The club will meet from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in the Hampton/Newport News Room of Webb University Center.
This is also the kickoff for Old Dominion University's Hispanic Heritage Month events. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Services and the Latino Student Alliance, and is free and open to the public.
