FORMER ODU ALL-AMERICAN TO COACH U.S. SAILING CLINIC

Yngling World Champion Sally Barkow, a former All-American at Old Dominion University, is the featured coach at the Road to Rolex women's sailing clinic Aug. 13 at the Wayzata Yacht Club on Lake Minnetonka, Minn.

The 2005 series of Road to Rolex clinics were created to prepare women sailors for U.S. Sailing's Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championship, considered one of the world's pinnacle events for women sailors and scheduled for Sept. 17-23 in Annapolis, Md. Participants will learn aboard International J/22 class keelboats, the same boat utilized in the Rolex IWKC.

Barkow, a member of the U.S. Sailing Team, is the defending Rolex IWKC champion as well as a three-time collegiate All-American, noted sailing coach and an active match racer, winning the 2004 ISAF Women's World Match Racing Championship.
