MCEACHRON NAMED TO NATIONAL PRESEASON POLL

Old Dominion men's soccer senior defender Trevor McEachron has been named to the College Soccer News PreSeason First Team, the only Monarch to be selected in the national list.

McEachron had a career year in 2003, anchoring one of the best defenses in Division I men's soccer. He was named the Colonial Athletic Association Defender of the Year, was named to the All-CAA First Team as well as the NSCAA/Adidas All-American First Team. In addition, he was named National Player of the Week by College Soccer News for the week ending Sept. 14 and was named CAA Player of the Week two weeks in a row (September 15 and 22).

McEachron started in 17 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury against George Mason.
