The Norfolk Democratic Committee will hold a panel discussion Tuesday, Aug. 17, about developments from across the nation in this year's presidential election. The event will be at Ted Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m.

Panelists include U.S. Rep. Robert C. Scott, D-3rd District; Quentin Kidd, associate professor of political science at Christopher Newport University; Joshua Scott, director of programs for University of Virginia Center for Politics; and a national representative of the Kerry for President campaign.
