CAREER MANAGEMENT EVENT IS AUG. 15

The Career Management Center at Old Dominion is hosting "Senior Sink or Swim" -- an event is designed for recent and upcoming graduates who are having difficulty with beginning and/or conducting their job searches -- from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15.

Some highlights of the event include: discussion on "Where are you in the career search process?"; resume/cover letter help; job search strategies; interviewing tips; and salary requirements/budgeting help. A networking luncheon with local employers will be from from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

A continental breakfast will also be provided.

1. Do you currently have a resume and/or cover letter?
2. How have you been searching and/or applying for jobs?
3. Approximately how many jobs do you apply for on a weekly basis?
4. Have you been to or had any interviews?
5. What would you like to gain from this event?
