MOTTO CONTEST FEATURED IN CHRONICLE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Old Dominion University again is featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education, this time for the motto contest President Roseann Runte announced last spring.

In a "Short Subjects" article in the July 26 issue, Runte and 1980 alum Gordon McDougall are quoted. The article indicates more than 1,000 submissions have been received to date.

The contest is slated to end this summer and the person who submitted the winning entry, as selected by a committee, will receive a $100 gift certificate to the campus bookstore or a cash prize.
