GOLF'S DEZTANY JACKSON EARNS ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR HONORS

The National Golf Coaches Association has selected Old Dominion University women's golfer Deztany Jackson, of Ft. Washington, MD., to its All-American Scholar team.

Jackson, a rising sophomore carries a 3.78 grade point average in mechanical engineering. She won the independent division title at the PGA Minority Collegiate
Championships and took 30th at the Bethune-Cookman Classic and 35th at the TPC/Virginia Beach tournament.

In all, 13 Monarch student athletes earned national academic honors this year:
