PRESIDENT RUNTE TO GIVE TALK ON U.S.-CANADA HIGHER EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AT AASCU MEETING JULY 26
Old Dominion University president Roseann Runte will discuss U.S.-Canada higher education leadership perspectives at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities' (AASCU) 2005 Summer Council of Presidents July 24-27 in Montreal, Canada.
Runte's talk will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 26 at the Hyatt Regency Montreal.
This year's Summer Council of Presidents focuses on the growing impact of global issues pertaining to student access to higher education. Runte, former president of Victoria University in Toronto, is one of only a handful of leaders in higher education to have led universities on both sides of the border. She, along with two Canadian university presidents, will explore the internationalization issues in higher education as seen from both the United States and Canada.
