Be part of the freshman tradition by volunteering to serve food at the annual picnic that concludes DEBUT on from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.

DEBUT is the second part of freshman orientation, which reconnects our incoming students to ODU to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable transition to their new life as a Monarch. As a faculty or staff member, this is your opportunity to show our newest students how great ODU is and what Monarch Pride is all about, students being involved and excited about ODU.

All volunteers will receive a Monarch Review t-shirt and enjoy lunch while serving food or distributing the Freshman T-shirt and mingling with the students. Two shifts are available for volunteers so you can eat before or after helping serve lunch or distributing the Freshman T-shirt to the students.

This year is going to be the best ever with the addition of carnival games and student organizations.

Online registration is available at http://studentservices.odu.edu/debut. Register by Monday, Aug. 1, to ensure your volunteer time slot.
