FOUR APPOINTED TO ODU BOARD OF VISITORS
Gov. Mark Warner appointed four new members to the Old Dominion University Board of Visitors Tuesday.
Retired Adm. Harold W. Gehman Jr., a Virginia Beach resident who served as NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic before retiring in 2000, and Virginia Beach businessman Robert Copeland will replace current members Walter D. Kelley and Henry P. Bouffard. Gehman received an honorary degree from Old Dominion in 1999.
Alumni Mark E. Strome, a 1978 graduate who is president of Strome Securities in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and Pat Tsao, a 1975 graduate who is founder and president of INTECS International in Alexandria, were also appointed. They will replace current board members Nancy P. Cheng and William M. Lechler, who both had served two terms and were ineligible for reappointment.
