Rusty Waterfield, director of communications and network services in Old Dominion's Office of Computing and Communications Services, landed in The Chronicle of Higher Education this week -- in an advertisement for Gateway.

The ad, which ran on the inside cover of the June 16 Chronicle, is for Gateway's Custom Integration Services, through which the university purchased computer equipment. The two-page ad quotes Waterfield as saying, "The cost savings are obvious." It goes on to say that Waterfield estimated his "system installation time was cut from over four hours to one hour per machine" because of the service and that the reduction saved the university thousands of dollars.
