JOE FLANAGAN TO BE CELEBRITY JUDGE AT DESSERT COMPETITION TODAY
WVEC newsman Joe Flanagan will be a celebrity judge at Old Dominion University President Roseann Runte's annual "Just Desserts" contest, to be held at noon Monday, June 13, in the front lobby of Webb Center.
Everyone is invited to sample, taste, and submit scorecards to assist other judges, who will include:
· Lytton Musselman, Mary Payne Hogan professor of botany
· Libby Musselman
· Regula Meier, associate professor emeritus, German
· September Sanderlin, human resources
· Carol Ray - Perry Library
· Kaye Patten Wallace - student services
· Dillard George - facilities management
· Judy Bowman - academic affairs
Prizes will be awarded to the best entries from the following categories:
The Miracle Dessert
Whether it is made in one step, one bowl, does not have to be baked or uses a mix in an inventive
fashion, the entries in this category qualify as well-kept family secrets.
