Old Dominion University President Roseann Runte has announced her annual "Just Desserts" contest, to be held at noon Monday, June 13, in the front lobby of Webb Center.

Everyone is invited to sample, taste, and submit scorecards to assist the judging team, which will include:
· Lytton Musselman, Mary Payne Hogan professor of botany
· Libby Musselman
· Regula Meier, associate professor emeritus, German
· September Sanderlin, human resources
· Carol Ray - Perry Library
· Kaye Patten Wallace - student services
· Dillard George - facilities management
· Judy Bowman - academic affairs

Prizes will be awarded to the best entries from the following categories:

The Miracle Dessert
Whether it is made in one step, one bowl, does not have to be baked or uses a mix in an inventive
fashion, the entries in this category qualify as well-kept family secrets.

Dieters' Delight
It is amazing how few calories and/or cholesterol can taste so good!

The Undeniable Power of Chocolate
Decadence personified these desserts delight the chocolate lover in us all.

Desserts with Appeal
Anything made with fruit! Whether the fruit has a peel or not!

Southern Comfort
This dessert may be a family tradition, a recipe made from the simplest of ingredients but representing the richest of memories.

A Beauty to Behold
The desserts in this category look so good that one hesitates to serve them...but then again, how can
one resist?
