COMMONWEALTH BASEBALL TRYOUTS JUNE 4

Tryouts for the East team for baseball competing in the Commonwealth Games are set for 1-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at Old Dominion University.

Tryouts for players from the Beach and Southeastern districts will be from 1-3:30 p.m. Players from the Eastern and Peninsula districts, private schools and group A and AA schools, will try out from 4-6:30 p.m.

All players who want to try out must fill out an application and be present to tryout, including players still involved in postseason high school play. The cost is $20 cash and applications will be available at tryouts.

If tryouts are rained out on Saturday, they will be held Sunday, June 5, at ODU.
