HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS SESSION IS JUNE 15
Are you prepared for the next hurricane? Mike Lauder and Melanie Kissell will discuss emergency preparedness from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, in the Cape Charles Room in Webb University Center.
The program is part of the American Red Cross "Together We Prepare" campaign, which was developed to assist the Hampton Roads community in preparing for and responding to emergencies.
The discussion will offer suggestions to prepare yourself and family for the next severe weather disaster. The presentation will cover emergency planning, building emergency kits, training for emergencies, volunteering during emergencies, blood services during the disasters and seasonal safety tips.
