DEFENSIVE DRIVING PRESENTATION OFFERED JUNE 7

Dan Hurley, senior director of risk management and safety for Norfolk Public Schools, will discuss the basics of defensive driving at a presentation Tuesday, June 7 at Old Dominion University.

The hour-long talk will begin at noon and will be held in the Chesapeake Room in Webb University Center. Attendants are welcome to bring their lunch.

Hurley will discuss:
• Managing space around your vehicle;
• The Three second rule;
• Interstate Driving;
• Scanning the road ahead; and
• Recognize, Understand and Act.
