UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES THREE EMINENT SCHOLAR APPOINTMENTS

Old Dominion's latest eminent scholars were recognized at the Faculty Awards and Retirement Dinner at the end of the spring semester.

They are: Adolphus Hailstork, professor of music, who is widely known as a prolific world-class composer; Ahmed Noor, professor of aerospace engineering, regarded as one of the world's leading scholars in the fields of aircraft and aerospace structures; and Simon Serfaty, professor of international studies, an internationally recognized leader in European studies.
