ACADEMIC ADVISORS LECTURE TO BE VIDEOSTREAMED
More than 150 academic advisors from colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada are coming to Old Dominion Thursday, May 23 -- some in person, some via computer.
The National Academic Advising Association Conference, "A Day At the Beach: Are Advisors Like Life-Preservers of Sand in Their Shorts?", is hosted by Old Dominion and Tidewater Community College.
One highlight is the keynote address by Lois Breur Krause, author of "How We Learn and Why We Don't." Her presentation of learning styles will be videostreamed at 10:15 a.m. It can be accessed at http://www.odu.edu/ao/affairs/advising/NACADA/index.html
