LITERATURE LECTURE FRIDAY AT V.B. CENTER
Lilia Quindoza-Santiago, a Fulbright Scholar from the University of the Philippines, will present "Aspects of Contemporary Creative Writing and Translation in Filipino" from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center, 1881 University Drive.
Quindoza-Santiago is a full professor in the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature at the University of the Philippines. An award-winning writer, she is known in her homeland for various works in fiction, poetry and biography.
