The Old Dominion University Auditory Research Group is looking for volunteers for a study comparing the impact of hearing loss on speech communication. The National Institutes of Health and NASA Langley Research Center are sponsoring the research.

A 100 men and women who are age 60 and over, licensed drivers, and in generally good health-are able to take part. Volunteers will be compensated $20 per session, with each session lasting approximately two hours. Participants potentially have the opportunity to complete up to three separate sessions. All sessions will take place in the Mills Godwin Jr. Building, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday.
