PERRY LIBRARY HONORS TWO OF ITS OWN

The Perry Library recently named Janet Justis as Librarian of the Year and Pete Bruce as Support Staff Member of the Year.

Justis, government information reference librarian, manages the library's federal and state depository programs. She has worked at Old Dominion since 1995.

Bruce serves an office services assistant in the systems department. A member of the library staff since 1990, he first worked as a student assistant, then as an office services assistant in bibliographic services, before assuming his current position last June.

Justis and Bruce were honored at the Friends of the Library annual staff reception May 3. As winners in the annual library awards program, they each received a check for $100 and will have their names engraved on plaques that will be on display in the Perry Library.
