BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS CANDIDATE EXHIBITION

Old Dominion University bachelor of fine arts senior candidate Ruben Goitia will have his artwork displayed at the Indian River Library in Chesapeake through Sunday, May 15.

Goitia's exhibition fulfills one of the final requirements for graduation with an ODU bachelor of fine arts degree.

Goitia's work combines her love of both drawing and writing. She has illustrated a self-generated visual narrative using ink, computer graphic and photographic images. Her images are influenced by modern Japanese animation giving it a technological feel.

The Indian River Library is located on 2320 Old Greenbrier Road. It is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
