THE RESULTS OF THE COFFEE TASTE TEST ARE IN!
Yesterday, during a blind coffee taste test to determine the flavor of the official ODU coffee, 171 faculty, staff and students cast their ballots in the front lobby of Webb Center.
Flavor b, which was later revealed to be First Colony Coffee and Tea Co.'s Hazelnut, won the contest by only six votes with 86 votes total. Eighty voters chose flavor a, which was revealed to be First Colony's French Vanilla. Five votes were cast for both flavors or neither.
A committee will now review all of the names suggested by voters for the new ODU coffee. The winning entry will receive a complimentary gift basket of the ODU coffee and tea when they become available this fall.
